Please Spay or Neuter All Your Pets. Too many animals die in shelters everyday because there isn't enough homes. See www.snap-nc.org for info on low-cost spay/neuter. Shelter adoption fee is $25 per animal plus $5 per rabies vaccine where applicable. Phone (919) 693-6749 to speak with or leave a message for the officers. Speak clearly and leave your phone number twice - if the animal is still available, the officers WILL get back to you. Shelter hours are Monday thru Friday from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM and Saturdays 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The shelter is closed weekends and holidays.
The petlist is maintained by volunteers and is only updated once weekly. If you are traveling any distance, please call first to verify that the animal in question is still available. If you are in the Oxford area and would like to help maintain the website, please call the shelter and let them know.
