My Story

Paisley and Piper were just at the vet on Oct. 24 and we were told that Paisley and Piper both could grow to be medium sized dogs. They are now 7 and 8 pounds respectively. Piper is just a tiny little fellow and so very gentle, what a great little companion he will be. He is more beautiful than his pictures show....apply for him and see! Piper is about 7 to 8 wks now He was rescued from Wapayton at 3 to 4 wks of age. Piper is more quiet of the two..sweet and gentle, a little bit more cautious than his sister! They are both playful sweet pups who LOVE cuddling and attention, They live with my big dogs and are very respectful of their boundaries, but still like to cross that line with the occasional 'attack of their tails" Just too much fun to resist!...they are working on housebreaking but with the cold snap they are finding it harder to go out so they do rely on the puppy pads for right now. Real gems I think. Please note that all puppies are required to take an obedience class. A spay/neuter contract plus deposit is a requirement as well. Definitions:

Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)

On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home for up to 2 weeks before the adopters need to commit to keeping the dog. We want to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! We allow this option for everyone except very long distance adoptions (too far to drive).

Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we have the final word. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
