Max is about a year old and very special. The person that took Max in told us that he was a Pure breed Bernese Mountain Dog, because the person that abandoned him told her he was that breed, but after looking at him we feel he is a Pyrenean mastiff. When we picked up Max he was dehydrated and very thin. The person that had him chained him in her basement during the night and chained him out side during the day. We found him chained up to a large log in her back yard with no shade and no water near him. Although Max has been through a lot he has been gaining weight and now he needs his thick coat brushed. We have been working with Max and it seems he has had some obedience training. Max is a big baby and loves to be around people. If you are looking for a big dog hug this boy can help you with that.
