Mugsie ADOPTED!

Mugsie is a beautiful declawed domestic short hair, grey tabby who we were able to rescue from a high kill shelter. She's only about 2 or 3 years old. She is such a beautiful looking cat and one of the shelter workers desperately wanted to save her because of her wonderful personality and temperament. We want to give her the chance to live a full life as she should.

Her first night in her foster home went well, although her foster mom observed that she has "declawed cat syndrome". That means that because she lost her natural defenses (her claws) she has a tendency to use her mouth when she's not happy and will nip. She doesn't bite hard, but probably would not be a good cat to have around small children.

We particularly like to save the declawed cats so that another cat won't have to undergo this painful procedure.

Mugsie has been adopted October 11, 2004!!
