Linguini is so cute he could be a Disney character! He came to us from Palmer Animal Control after he was found wandering around outside on his own. He is enjoying his nice clean cage and eating lots of fresh veggies from our garden. He loves lettuce, parsley, cucumbers, and peppers. He is a gentle guy who enjoys being held (the animal control officer's young daughter loved snuggling him), so we think he would enjoy a home with kids.
Guinea pigs are active, gentle, relatively low-maintenance pets that love companionship and make great pets for gentle children six years old and up. Guinea pigs are happiest when they have a clean cage and lots of socialization time with their person. They require fresh hay and greens (lettuce, parsley, basil, etc.) daily, and adopters should consider this expense when adding a guinea pig to their family.
