Squirtle is an adult, male, leopard gecko. His exact age is unknown as he came to us after his owner left him behind when they were evicted. Squirtle no longer has his original tail, but instead has a regenerated one. It is unknown what conditions lead to him needing to regenerate his tail. Squirtle has been nicely gaining weight since receiving proper care. Squirtle is a fantastic eater. He would prefer not to be handled, but rather be observed in his enclosure. Leopard geckos can live long lives in captivity with proper care. The typical lifespan is between 15-20 years.
