My Story

must adopt with bond mate, Skye Hey, hey, hey! I'm Skamper, the one and only! And let me tell you something straight off the bat - my sister Skye and I are a package deal. You won't find one without the other because we're inseparable besties and must be adopted together. So, here's the scoop about me: I'm a male black and white mini lop, full of energy and ready for adventure. Skye and I are the ultimate social butterflies, always eager to explore every nook and cranny of our home. Digging? Oh, you bet we love it! And chewing on cardboard or our wooden castles? It's like a hobby for us. But you know what I really enjoy? Tossing around stacking cups like there's no tomorrow! Now, let's talk about the best part of the day - FOOD! Morning salads, evening salads, and those oh-so-delicious bedtime snacks? Count me in! And don't even get me started on those cardboard tubes filled with botanical hay - pure bliss, I tell you. I also love to nibble on some apple wood sticks. But you know what tops it all? Bananas! A daily slice before bedtime and I'm in bunny heaven. When it comes to manners, I'm a pro when it comes to the litter box. Oh, and when it's cleaning time, you'll find me front and center, begging for those head pets and attention. I mean, who can resist a good head pet, am I right? Do you want to know what truly makes my heart sing? Cuddling with Skye. Hanging out in the living room with our foster family, soaking up all the love and attention - it's the highlight of my day. A quick groom once a week? No problemo. Just a bit more attention when I'm shedding, and I'm good to go. Cats and dogs? I haven't met any yet, but with the right introductions, I may like them. I'm also not sure how I would do with kids, but may get along if they are older and considerate. Skye and I are two social bunnies who are eagerly awaiting for our forever family - could that be you? *RRMN does not recommend our rabbits as companion animals for anyone under the age of 10* I would love to have an opportunity to meet you to see if we can be a good match. If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com Gender: Male Approximate birthdate: 3/23/2022 Approximate weight: 7.93 pounds Adoption fee for Pair: $150.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
