My Story

Roy came from a hoarding/breeding situation. Hotot and New Zealands were the primary breeds in the situation. Roy had an injury to his eye, and we got him to a veterinarian as soon as we could. Even with treatment, he will always have a blind spot in his eye, and he also has a genetic condition that the eye is smaller, as well as the eyelids- it is the same eye that he has an injury. Roy is growing and getting bigger and he will be neuterd when he is 6 months (in July). He is using his litter box most times. He loves his food and always up for some treats. the shelter after her mom and others were rescued from a hoarding situation. Adoptions are made at our adoption events OR at shelter by appt only.... We are located in Dearborn MO. Please check out FB page for adoption event dates and additional information. When considering adopting one of our homeless pets, please remember to do your research before adoption, because we want to place our animals in homes who understand the responsibilities of taking care of an exotic animal. ****** PLEASE READ BEFORE SENDING AN INQUIRY: We do not ship any of our animals. Animals do not include enclosures. The adoption fee is not negotiable - your adoption fee helps us to be able to carry out our mission and provide for all of our adoptable animals as well as continue our mission of education.
