My Story

Rock also arrived recently. He’s a morbidly obese mini rex with fleas so bad that they kept hopping onto our intake coordinator. Thankfully we were able to quickly treat the fleas and he’ll be going on a diet. In case you can’t tell by these intake pictures, he earned the name Rock for being so heavy and round. Rexes (and mini Rexes) are prone to obesity - and this little man is no exception. At about 4 years old, Rock spent 1 year in a shelter and then 3 years in a home before being surrendered to Dolly’s. Honestly he’s easy. He doesn’t like to move much due to his weight, so doesn’t get into bunstruction. He mostly only moves to use the litter box and eat. We’re working to help him become more active but aren’t quite there yet. A bunny bondmate would certainly help increase his movement. If you’d like to adopt him once ready, click here: https://forms.gle/xatrAFuJh65GYqTG9 P.S. if you have any extra bath, pool, or hand towels you’re looking to donate, you can drop them off at Dolly’s Dream Store anytime during open hours!
