My Story

CHECK YOUR SPAM/JUNK FOLDER IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE A REPLY TO AN INQUIRY INDOOR ONLY HOMES Obi was rescued on April 4, 2024 from a horse race track in Southern California where someone abandoned 15 rabbits just after Easter. Obi is an amazing bunny and as cute as they come! He comes up to the edge of his bunny bungalow hoping you'll pick him up and pet his head. He's a relaxed bunny who enjoys chilling on your lap for serious snuggling time. He chatters his teeth with contentment. Friendly, social, gentle and kind is who he is. He is a small rabbit with an estimated date of birth of November 2023. He was neutered on April 22, 2024. He is vaccinated against RHDV2. Obi should start out living in an exercise pen (x-pen) otherwise known as a puppy pen. He can have that as his home base or transition to a room or a section of a room or free roaming. A cage/hutch is not recommended unless the door is open and an x-pen can be placed around it. Please be over 21 if inquiring about a rabbit. Obi can be seen by appointment in Lake Elsinore after a questionnaire is completed or a phone consultation conducted. On adoption day, plan to spend approximately one hour at the rescue going over paperwork and general rabbit care information. Delivery is available up to 100 miles from Lake Elsinore. PLEASE consult with the rescue before you purchase rabbit supplies so you can be directed to the least expensive and most appropriate rabbit essentials, especially if you’ve never had the pleasure of owning a rabbit! Your local big chain pet store is probably NOT the best place to buy rabbit supplies! If you are seeking a rabbit as a companion for your existing rabbit, your rabbit should be spayed/neutered. Male/female bondings are usually recommended.
