My Story

Meet Moo! Moo is the absolute SWEETEST gal and will steal anyone's heart. After being dumped, she was rescued by her foster dad from a group of kids chasing her with hockey sticks and trying to hit her. She was very shut down for her first few days in the foster home, and her whole body would flinch at human touch. She apparently lived with other adult rabbits who were also dumped, and unfortunately hit by cars. The "good samaritan" who helped trap her was actually the one that dumped her. Moo was intended to be a meat rabbit. She lived in a chicken wire hutch and she has some scarring on her little nose. Moo gets really excited at breakfast time (pellets), but her favorite thing is people. If you are near her pen, she will try to squeeze her head through so she can be pet. She is cute, snuggly, and will let you pet her for hours. Moo does well with her litter box but does have an occasional accident (and she needs a litter box with very high sides). She has a big appetite for her timothy hay. She seems like she would be a good bonding candidate. Moo, like many rabbits, does not like loud noises or sudden movements. She doesn't seem bothered by the cats in the home when she sees them through the gate, but hasn't gotten close to them. Moo can be a little exuberant when she's being fed her pellets to the point that she's excitedly nipped her foster mom. It clearly wasn't aggressive, we think she just gets too excited and is ready to chow down. Interested? Apply at bunnybrigadepa.com/adopt
