My Story

Lovely came to us traumatized. She’d been dumped and extremely mistreated by humans. For months, her ears remained pinned flat to her back. No matter how hard we worked to gain her trust, she was terrified of people. Only recently has she begun to stick her ears up. We’re SO proud of her and how far she’s come. Her foster mom says: “Lovely! This poor girl has had so much trauma in her life, but slowly her ears are starting to come up just like the brighter days ahead of her! She’s perfect with her litter box but does need a family that is quiet and a little more patient because she’ll need some time to adjust. But I promise if you give her that time, you will not regret it! She is truly a sweetheart, but humans have failed her in the past.” Look at the little crumb on her mouth in the first photo. She’s truly just so cute! We would love to find her a husbun who is confident and calm. Ideally a family who understands that although she’s very kind, she prefers the company of other bunnies and will need help blossoming.
