My Story

Hey there! I am Little Miss Floofers, but you can call me Little Miss or just Floofers. I'm a bunny on a mission for a furever home. My wish in life is as simple and sweet as a carrot - lots of attention. Let's talk about my true love - food! Oxbow Pellets for breakfast, greens (romaine, spring mix, arugula, cilantro) for supper, and hay in between - that's the menu I live for. And don't forget the treats! Apples, blueberries, carrots, and heart timothy hay treats are my absolute favorites. Nanners, though? Keep those to yourself. Yuck! I'm a bunny of refined taste, you see. Puzzle toys with treats? Now we're talking. Non-treat toys? Meh, not impressed. My chewing is limited to apple branches - a new one every couple of days keeps me satisfied. Now, let's talk about my preferences. While I'm very curious and somewhat energetic, I have to be clear - my space is sacred. Please be patient and understanding, invading my ex-pen is a big no-no. I may get a little sassy if you do. In your space, though, I'm the epitome of chill. Free-roaming is my jam, and I will behave myself like a well-mannered bunny should - no chewing, digging, or carpet pulling. Also, my litter box habits are great! Since I don't cause any mischief, my foster mom has trusted me to free roam for a limited time without supervision. I'm not a fan of hard surfaces, but my foster mom is working with me on that. Head pets and attention at my level are a must, and slow hands from above are the key to unlocking the Floofers petting experience. Fast hands? That's a hard pass. I love to explore, lounge, and, of course, give you lots of nose boops. Shake my head when excited? Guilty as charged. Hopping between your feet during run time? Yep, I'm a trip hazard, but it's all part of my charm. There are no children in my foster home, so I'm a bit of a mystery when it comes to them. Uncertain territory, you know? In my foster digs, there are a couple of medium-sized dogs, and let me tell you, those canines are no bother when they keep their cool. We coexist peacefully, but here's the twist - loud, sudden barking? Sends shivers down my bunny spine and I don't stick around for the noise party. I retreat to my hidey spot for a moment of zen, but my curious self can never stay in there too long. I dream of a bunny experienced home where I can be primarily free-roam or have a room to myself. Consistent meal schedules, a bit of head petting at my level, and a dash of patience along with enrichment toys that involve food rewards are my idea of a good time. And did I mention I might do well with a bunny bond mate? Grooming attempts with previous foster bunnies and a keen interest in making new bunny friends at Romp and Spas are a good indication that if the right bunny comes along, we might make a perfect match. If you're looking for a curious, confident, smart, and sassy bunny to join your life's adventure, look no further - I am ready to hop into your heart! *RRMN does not recommend our rabbits as companion animals for anyone under the age of 10* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female Approximate birthdate: 11/13/2020 Approximate weight: 4.2 pounds Adoption fee: $95.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
