My Story

Must adopt with bond mates, Christa & PhyllisHello, I'm Jenny, one-third of the inseparable trio of bunny friends who are on a quest to find our forever home. Our journey began on a meat farm, where we were rescued as young bunnies. We were labeled as "annoying and naughty" among our 13 siblings, and the farm had plans to eat us. Fortunately, we were saved and have brought boundless joy to our foster home. I'm the clever, adventurous, and sweet one in our group. When you approach me, I'll often dash over to greet you with enthusiasm, but it might take me a little time to warm up unless you've got some treats in hand - treats have a magical way of making me happy! My daily routine is quite simple; all I need is my daily serving of greens to keep me content. Speaking of my adventurous side, I have a knack for mischief, especially when left unsupervised. I come from a large family of 16 rabbit siblings, but now I'm just with my two sisters, and my behavior has improved. It seems that I may have outgrown my naughty phase, now that I have fewer siblings to share my toys with. Taking care of me isn't too demanding, although I appreciate some extra attention, particularly when it comes to my litterbox habits. I'm working on getting better at it, but it's still a work in progress. My fur can be a bit coarse and may occasionally need brushing or clipping when it gets snarled. It can get caught in my hay, pellets, and various other places, so some minor grooming is always helpful. I'm an adventurous bunny who loves to explore and frolic around, so having ample space for me to roam is essential. In the culinary department, I have a few favorite foods: cilantro, carrots, and romaine. However, I'm not too keen on bananas. My diet mainly consists of Oxbow pellets, which I happily munch on. When it comes to human interactions, I'm all about being petted, rather than snuggled. It's my preferred way to receive affection, and I particularly enjoy having my face petted. I can be a bit shy when we first meet, but I'm genuinely sweet once I've had a chance to warm up to you. I get along well with respectful children, but I can be a tad nervous, so a bit of patience goes a long way. Though I love people, I still need my rabbit bond mate to be truly happy, and I have a deep fondness for other bunnies. I'm at my absolute happiest when I have a rabbit friend to share my days with. So, if you're searching for a clever, adventurous, and sweet bunny to welcome into your home, please consider adopting me, Jenny, along with my cherished bunny companions, Christa and Phyllis. We'd be overjoyed to find our forever home together this week. Gender: Female Approximate birthdate: 1/20/2023 Approximate weight: 7.4 pounds Adoption fee for the Trio: $150.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
