My Story

This is a courtesy posting for a private rescuer based in Westchester County. Jack (white) and Jill (gray) are two beautiful larger buns who are looking for a loving home. They were rescued from a basement in the Bronx, where they were slated for the dinner table. Upon their rescue, they had a litter of seven. Six of the offspring are now a bonded sextet living as fosters in a garage in Westchester (and are also looking for a home). Currently, Jack and Jill are sheltered in the Weinberg Nature Center; however, the Center does not have appropriate resources to care for them optimally. Jack and Jill are snuggly and soft, are good hay eaters, prolific poopers, and love exploring their environment. They need a home that allows for free-roam time and someone who can give them loving attention. Will you go up the hill with them and be their fur-ever home? Both rabbits have been altered and vaccinated. To inquire about adoption, please email [email protected]. We will forward all applications to the private rescuer.
