Dove (grey, female) and Scooter (white, male) were bought from a breeder who claimed the bunnies were both female. Well, Scooter is actually a male, and Dove was pregnant! The bunnies were given an outdoor hutch to live in (not recommended!!), and Dove had her babies there. Very sadly, none of them survived.
A wonderful bunny philanthropist, who was actually the neighbor of these two bunnies, saw their living conditions and reached out to us at Bunny World. He even donated the money needed to get Scooter and Dove to the vet! So, Dove and Scooter were treated, spayed/neutered, and are now recovering with their foster family.
Please help insure that these bunnies' futures are that of proper care, spacious indoor accommodations, and lifelong optimal health and happiness with their wonderful new family!
