My Story

Meet Dancer & Blitzen, a pair of approx. 2 year old bonded female rabbits. They (along with their siblings Dasher & Prancer) came into rescue after our team spent nearly 3 hours in the frigid cold trying to bring them to safety. While we are still learning a bit about these girls, they have made miles of progress since being their foster home. Here is what their foster parents have had to say about them: These girls are adjusting wonderfully to being cared for. Both are timid, but, coming out of their shells, they will come up to you for a treat; or if sitting in their pen they’ll come up to check you out! Housekeeping skills aren’t the greatest just yet, however, when not using litter box, a pee pad has been their alternate choice and nowhere else in pen. Dancer seems to watch Blitzen's reactions on human interaction, or when accepting treats. Dancer likes to steal treats from Blitzen instead of taking her own, silly girl! They have great appetites, love their greens - as well as the occasional blueberry or apple slice. We have been able to pick them up, do short snuggles, and trim their nails. Both have given our teen son kisses/groomed him, our tween daughter has held both girls with little fuss from either. Dancer & Blitzen are best suited for a home with no children under the age of 12. They are being spayed on Feb. 1, 2024 - and will be available to go to a new home 2 weeks after that (provided there are no post-spay complications) Their adoption fee is $75.00 (for the pair) If you are interested in meeting Dancer & Blitzen, please fill out the foster application on our website: www.popcornsandbinkies.org Adoption fee includes: * Health check upon entering rescue; * RHD/RHD2 Vaccine (unless medically advised not to do so) * Spay/neuter (unless advised by our veterinarian not to, due to age or health issues); * Ongoing access to our team for questions that may arise after adoption
