My Story

Casper was found in Bartlett by good neighbors, along with his twin, "Jasper". He has a healed injury on his ear and is starting to recover a soft, beautiful coat. These two obviously had a tough life, most likely as hutch rabbits, but now on the other side of physical healing, they are getting all the love they deserve as house rabbits. We believe Casper is deaf or partially deaf, like many lop eared rabbits we take in. He's been observed "alerting" to sounds, but it's possible he "feels" them instead of "hears" them. This aspect does not affect him in any negative way, one just needs to take care to not sneak up on him and startle him. Let's talk about his demeanor. This boy is VERY sweet, calm, and loving. He's curious and seeks human attention. He seems genuinely grateful for his new life, and often can be heard "chattering" when receiving loving pets because they make him so happy. He will sit in your lap and lay beside you as long as you will pet him. He would make a very good couch companion. He's a very good hay eater and loves strawberries and blueberries. He is the cutest thing with his floppy ears, bright white fur, and BLUE eyes. Casper would love to join your family and will make a truly special companion.
