Harley is not at our facility. Rather, he is with his current owners, whose contact information is below. Please read about Harley in the words of his current owners: Harley is looking for a loving home. Why? Sadly, we are unable to keep him. We will be living on our farm in Africa for half the year. Given this, we feel that it is best to find him a new home. What is Harley’s history? He has been with his current owners since he was rescued as a 3 month’s old puppy from the SPCA, some 9 years ago. What kind of home is Harley suitable for? He is ideal for a couple or a single person. He is not used to children; it would be advisable to keep him away from them. What is Harley like as a dog? He is a real companion, very intelligent and perceptive. He has a gentle, sensitive nature and loves company. Harley is fully trained, responds proactively to cues, and is respectful of home furnishings. He is an excellent companion, always by his owner’s side. He loves being in the passenger seat in the car. He loves walks and exercise. He enjoys the company of small dogs, although he does not always respond well to large dogs. It can take time for him to get used to strangers. What about his health? He is a healthy dog, has a microchip and is fully vaccinated. What are the next steps? As his owners, we would like to make sure that his new home works out.
