Zuzu

From Zuzu's former family: Hi, my name is Zuzu. I am a sweet-natured German Shepherd who wants to be part of the home team. I pay attention and follow other team members around. I like to fetch balls, but I don't always return them. I love lounging on the couch or bed with my human teammates. I'm probably best suited for a home that doesn't have other pets. I get excited to go for walks and love riding in the car. My dream home would be one where I get lots of hugs and belly rubs and can run around a back yard a bit. At some point I will need a dental at your veterinarian! Her short term foster said "Zuzu is a peoples dog. She loves food and long walks. She's very well mannered around the house and she will let you know when she has to go outside by tapping on the door. She loves to play fetch and tug-of-war, but she also loves to lay on the couch, snuggle up and watch your shows with you. She wasn't shy at all and is just looking for family to love her." --- Volunteers say "While out for the day with Zuzu we went on lots of walks, ran around at the park, got a pup cup, lots of pets from other students, and had some cuddle time before having to part. She would be such a perfect dog somewhere with lots of space she absolutely loves going outside and would do the cutest happy jumps when picking up the leash. She is the most beautiful German Shepherd and after only 4 hours together I fell in love. Her manners are amazing, as you can tell she's been taught how to be gentle and listen. She is the absolute sweetest, most precious girl and deserves the best life full of happiness!" "Zuzu and I took a car ride to the grindstone nature area and went on a hike together. She is a super sweet girl thats both loving and fun. I think someone who's relatively active would love her because she has a lot of energy. She is a great hiking partner and also liked to jog with me as well."
