Hi! My name is Zuma and I am from Minnesota. From her foster: Please read about sweet Zuma who we have been calling Betty. She is a super sweet, cuddly, well behaved, smart, curious, playful and affectionate girl. She loves to be around her people as much as she can, but is also fine being left to her own devices. She will entertain herself if I can't give her my full attention. She doesn't seem to really react to other dogs, people or noises around her. She is a little shy, so she'll stay close to me and observe until she feels comfortable. She really enjoys people watching and will just sit on my front lawn and watch everything go on around her. While she does love being outside and exploring my yard, she does not seem to like walks at all. She would do best in a home that can provide her with a fenced yard that she can freely explore. We're still working on crate training. She does well in the crate for naps when we're home and overnight, but doesn't like being put in there when we need to leave the house. She's doing so well at holding her bladder and if taken out on a consistent schedule, Betty will always go potty outside. The only indoor accidents have been when I've waited a little too long to take her out. She's not asking to go out on her own yet but does a good job with a schedule and I am sure that will be coming next!
