Zuko

Sweet Zuko was an owner surrender a few weeks ago and has since been to the vet and updated on vaccinations. He was left with family who was not able to continue to care for him long term and reached out for help. He is about 4 1/2 years old and we were told he is a wire pointer mix although we would not be surprised if he had some Great Dane and/or coon hound in his blood. He is looking for his forever home and is a pretty laid back guy. He absolutely loves playing and just hanging out on the couch with his foster sister and brother (who are also dogs). He enjoys being petted, taking naps, hanging outside, and don’t mind taking a bath either! He loves the children he’s had an opportunity to meet and all the pets they will give. He’s been started on weight management food to help him get to a healthier weight for the best quality of life. He has experienced some arthritis symptoms and has some lumps and bumps but overall a healthy lovable guy. If you are looking for the perfect bigger dog (weighing in over 120lbs), Zuko would love to become part of your family.
