*****Belgian Malinois Adoption requirements***** The dog you have selected is a Belgian Malinois. This is a breed that has very specific needs for an adoptive home. Because of their need for a high level of exercise, both mentally and physically and their need for ongoing training, only applicants with demonstrated owner/handler experience with this breed will be considered. The vast majority of them are not best suited as family pets, but in homes with experienced handlers knowledgeable of their needs and breed characteristics. We will not place in homes with small children or small dogs/cats. Meet Zoska! Zoska was found wandering alone and in need of help. Erika, a dedicated volunteer, kindly went out to meet the finder of Zoska and to search for her puppies and her mate. Although a male dog was seen with her, he ran off, and unfortunately, there was no luck in finding her puppies or the other dog. Zoska is a very sweet girl who just wants to be with a person. She shows no aggression when walking by other dogs and has been friendly with all the volunteers. Zoska has a particular love for canned food, although she’s not yet a fan of dry food. She absolutely loves her walks and is very smart, picking up on new things quickly. While she is dog selective, Zoska’s gentle nature and love for human companionship shine through. Now, Zoska is ready to find her new home where she can receive the love and attention she deserves. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion, Zoska might be the perfect match for you.
