My Story

Meet Zola. We believe she is some sort of a shepherd mix with longer fur and a long, pointy nose, with up ears. She is a happy-go-lucky dog, affectionate and loves attention. She is a submissive pup, and follows the lead of others. She likes to meet new people and receive her pets and loves to get treats. She is good in the car and has been sleeping through the night in her crate. She is not housebroken, but she has had a good start by keeping her crate dry through the night. She is good on a leash and loves to go on outings to the park. Offleash she stays close, but does go off to great the other dogs, then comes back to hang out near you. She is inquisitive and friendly and enjoys new adventures. She has been good with kids and other dogs. She has not been exposed to cats but she doesn't seem to have a prey drive. She does appear that she will have longer fur so she will eventually need brushing and fur care. She is fine letting me trim her nails. She barks at new noises and new arrivals but then runs over and flips over to expose her belly for pets. If you would like to meet Zora, please contact the rescue. She is being fostered with 3 other dogs in Scotts Valley. She will be spayed, have her shots and is microchipped.
