Zoey - Foxhound

My name is Zoey, and I am one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. I love it when you pet me and show me attention. If you give me the chance, I will show you how much love I can give. I enjoy going for walks and walk well on a leash. I will even walk without a leash and come back when called. I am past the chewing stage, and I am house trained! I do love stuffed animals over rawhide or squeaky toys. I love to sleep on my comfy doggy bed at night. I also get along great with kids, but I prefer the older ones - 5 and up since the little ones sometimes pull on my tail. I don't like that. Would you? Although I have been in foster homes with other dogs, I would probably prefer to be in a one dog home. I don't jump up, and I don't lick your face, but my tail sure does wag when you pet me. I have been known to love the attention of older people. I may have had a previous owner that was elderlyPlease fill out our online application.

We reserve the right to perform home visits on any adoption. Because we follow up on every adoption, we prefer adopters within a 75 mile radius of Concord, NC and they will be given priority over out of area applications. If you would like to see a particular pet at a Saturday adoption event, please contact us at least 2 days in advance so we can get in touch with the foster family and try to make sure they can be there.
