Zoey

Who out there needs a sassy princess? Zoey has been searching for her people since we got her in 2020. She's quite the character here at the shelter. Is as friendly as can be and enjoys making new friends. She does jump out of excitement when she meets new people, but most shelter dogs do. Towards the regular shelter staff, she hardly ever jumps, is pretty well behaved actually. Zoey is house trained, keeps a tidy kennel. When she's not first outside in the morning she'll 'yell' at you until it's her turn to go out. Sometimes she'll run around and steal some toys or get the other dogs all riled up before going out . She's not very high maintenance. Enjoys going for walks and just simply laying around in the sun. She comes in when called and usually goes back to her kennel. Knows how to sit and is treat motivated. Zoey would ideally do best as an only pet. She likes to chase livestock around, that's why she's now with us. Hasn't been too fond of other dogs, but we could always do a meet. Her adoption fee is $100. That helps us to cover worming, vaccines, spay/neuter, heart worm test, and microchip.
