Zoey

This sweet ol Mastiff Mix is Zoey. She is roughly 10y, and around 93lbs of pure love. Zoey had a rough hand dealt to her, but is looking for that forever sofa to occupy in her retirement. After being cooped up or tied out for most of her life many things are not as familiar to her as they should be, but she is curious and learning fast. Zoey is currently living with two senior Chihuahuas, and four cats, which is going well. Were told small children make her nervous with their quick movements. Sudden loud sounds and quick movements from anyone seems to make her nervous, but she is learning that she is in a safe place now. Zoey *loves* walks, and is working on a bit of leash reactivity, she is building confidence and getting better about that. She is also up for a car ride and wouldnt mind if you let her sit in the front seat as well. Due to some muscle atrophy walking and low impact activity will be beneficial in building her muscles back to where they should be. Zoey is food motivated and has a few tricks up her sleeve, she is currently learning kiss and Im sure she would pick up just about anything for the right amount of treats. She will countersurf when left unsupervised, so make sure you put that loaf of bread and other pastries away, or youll be wondering where they went off to! Zoey hasnt had a single accident inside even with the Chihuhuas trying to teach her bad habits. She will go to the door and grumble to be let out. She can be vocal while playing, she is tough on and likes to destuff her toys. When she is excited while playing or watching you get her dinner ready she does these little grumbles of excitement. Its so cute.
