Zoey is a beautiful black and white boxer. She is 1 year of age and weighs 55 pounds. She is boxer buff! She is currently being held at a veterinary clinic as her owner had to move into a small apartment and could not take Zoey with her. Zoey is very sweet but needs a little time to warm up to you. She has been bounced to three different families in her short life. All this moving around has been through no fault of her own, but it has made her a insecure. However, once she knows that she can get back rubs and butt scratches, she plops right down and soaks in the love and attention. She is sensitive to voices, and she likes to be told she is a good dog. Zoey has lived with children. She loves to play with other dogs, after proper introductions, and with toys. It is not known how she is with cats. She honors a fence, but she does not like to be crated, as she was crated a lot by one of her previous owners. Three families in a short year-long life would be difficult for anyone. Zoey needs a human to gently lead her and a human to consistently be there as Zoey’s human in this world.
