Zoey

Meet Zoey! Zoey is an 8-year-old, spunky, fun, and beautiful girl. She loves to play and be goofy but she rarely plays with toys. Her version of playing is bouncing up and down stomping on the ground at you and you can't help but laugh when she does it. Then she will usually immediately plop on the floor and roll over in hopes for some belly rubs. Of course, this playfulness wouldn't happen until she was given an adjustment period in her new home. A new environment will require patience with this charming girl as she settles in. Zoey also really enjoys laying out on the deck and sunbathing and taking in all of the smells this world has to offer. Zoey is slower to warm up to new people and 'less is more' with her. The way to her heart is with food, so treats sure don't hurt the process. We do want someone who will keep her active and at a healthy weight. This sweet girl has been on quite the weight loss journey. When she first entered foster care she was double her size. She could probably still lose a few pounds but is almost there and is looking fabulous! This sweet girl is crate trained, potty trained, knows basic commands, and walks well on the leash. Her ideal home would be with a quiet home, no children, and someone who will be patient with her while she adjusts to new people.
