Zoe

Zoe is an absolutley stunning 1.5 yr old, approx 40 lbs, Portuguese Water Dog (or very high mix) who was rescued from a local shelter. She was dumped there by a very uncaring owner, who was unconcerned that Zoe was shaking uncontrollably as she turned and walked away. AT first, Sweet Zoe does not act like a typical 1.5 yr old and we suspect someone was not very nice to her. She is very hesitant about everything she does, so unsure about what the reaction will be BUT once she is comfortable, she is the biggest sweetheart! She does REQUIRE a home with a privacy fence as she has been know to jump chain link and split rail fences. She is an active dog when she finds her comfort zone, and in a secure yard, thats when she finally acts like the puppy she should be! Zoe is crate trained and houstrained. She is a little nervous at first around new dogs but after a few minutes of introductions is fine and just loves to play! She is oblivious to cats. She loves, piggy twists, french fries and a spoonful of canned food!!
