REPORTED BY FORMER OWNER: Zoe is crate trained and house trained. Shes good being left alone for up to 8 hours per day. She walks pretty well on the leash and knows the sit, here and up commands. She can be a bit anxious when meeting new people at first but just needs some time to acclimate. She has never lived with children and has a high energy level. OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Zoe is slightly underweight; we are currently feeding her extra to help her achieve an ideal weight. She is quite fixated on treats and can be grabby with them; she will need to be supervised if around children with food. Once Zoe knows you, she tends to be a bit jumpy, but she can easily be trained not do to this since she is highly treat-motivated. Shes neutral around the other dogs here at the shelter and tends to be nervous/uninterested around cats. Weighs 41 pounds; $25 to adopt.
