Hi friends, my name is Zipporah! I am a beautiful, female Great Pyrenees mix, born around 09/14/19! I weigh 56 lbs., am spayed, heartworm negative and UTD on all my vaccines and preventatives! I joined The Artemis Project on 9/3/22 after I was abandoned outside of an old trailer where myself and multiple other dogs had to fend for ourselves. I was very thin when I was first rescued, but I have filled out nicely over time! I'm just a sweet girl looking for someone with whom I can enjoy a true companionship. I am currently in a foster home where I have learned what it's like to be loved and adored. I would do best in a low-key home. I do well with other dogs as well as cats. My biggest requirement is that I MUST BE WELL DRESSED! I'm a girl who loves my clothes! Please apply to be my family today! Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee.
