Say hello to Zip! He is an energetic 1.5-year-old, 36lb Queensland Healer who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA.
Zip is a sweet, playful, rambunctious, and smart dog. He learns incredibly fast, is very treat motivated, and takes treats gently. Zip would love a home that is active and provide him with the exercise he needs. He will also need an adopter that is committed to his basic obedience training and providing him with the mental stimulation he requires as well. He can be quite mouthy so we recommend no small children as he works through this.
Zip has done well with other dogs in our care and would be a great additional dog to a home or he would be fine as an only dog with continued socialization. He is very much looking for a job and would love a handler that keeps life interesting for him. Zip has a super soft coat, charming brown eyes, and a great smile! He is more than ready for his forever home!
Zip is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
