Meet Zion! Zion is a one year old mastiff mix. At 80lbs of pure love, Zion wants nothing more than to be yours! Zion came to our shelter as an injured stray after being attacked by multiple dogs and in need of medical intervention. Zion has an outgoing, bubbly nature and has loved meeting new human friends at the shelter! His endearing quality of leaning into you during his walks has made an impression on our staff and volunteers. Zion enjoys nothing more than showing off his tricks for a tasty snack! He will benefit from continued general manners training to perfect his newly learned skills. Zion is easy-going and fun with a love for playing in water. During hot summer days, we can find him outside, taking a dip in the pool and high-jumping in the hose. He will be an excellent buddy for any fun-loving person. Due to his background, Zion will not be able to live in a home with other dogs. Zion will not enjoy a dog park or dog friendly locations. He is nervous around dogs due to his previous trauma and promises to love you enough on his own! All other household animals should be introduced slow and controlled due to his unknown background with other species. Zion is neutered, has received core vaccinations (Bordetella, Canine Distemper, Rabies), flea + tick preventative, has been dewormed, and is microchipped. **Zion is currently enjoying a break from the shelter environment in a foster home!!
