Ziggy

Ziggy is a neutered male black mouth/mountain cur brindle weighing a perfect pock size of 38lbs. He is still a baby at only 11 months, but we do not expect him to get much bigger. Poor Ziggy and his 2 brothers were abandoned at a Texas shelter. His brothers got adopted, leaving him behind. Poor sweet Ziggy is just a puppy and only wants to be loved and cared for!!! This guy is already crate and potty trained. He is up to date on all shots and is heartworm negative. Ziggy loves to run and play chase but he is not a digger and has not been destructive. He barks at the back door only when he needs to go out. He sleeps in a crate with a doggie bed through the night. Ziggy has been great with other dogs of all sizes and both males and females. He does like to play chase, so we a recommending a home without cats. Ziggy is still a pup and would do best with an active family that will take him on walks and exercise him. He would benefit from a home with a fenced backyard to run around and play with. He is not off leash trained but has good recall. Ziggy is a smart guy and has been working on all his commands: sit, stay, come, lay down, off for not jumping on his humans, heel for leash training, as well as taking goodies nice and gentle. Ziggy does love to go places and be with his humans. He enjoys belly rubs, butt rubs, head rubs, you name it he loves to be petted anywhere and everywhere! He has a gorgeous handsome brindle coat and will not get much bigger than his current weight. He is such a sweetheart guy that just wants to be forever home.
