PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE INQUIRING – WE RESPOND FIRST TO THOSE WHO PUT IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION Meet Zeus! Zeus is a handsome and fluffy 4-5 year old husky mix. This sweet man is patiently awaiting his forever home and in the meantime is enjoying being pampered at his foster home. Zeus has had an unforgiving life up until this point, living as a stray for years after being abandoned in a Texas neighborhood by his family. Despite not having a family and household to call his own for years of his life, Zeus has wonderful manners and has remembered his house training. Zeus would fit with a variety of families, all that he asks is that you give him the love and attention he has lacked for so long. As a husky, he would love to go with you on life's adventures. He has great leash manners and gets along great with kids, cats, and other dogs. He is currently fostered in Texas, but is able to make his way to Iowa on one of our upcoming transports. Zeus is HW positive, which unfortunately is common in Texas dogs that have not received preventative medicine. The good news is we have started him on part one of treatment and he will finish with fast kill injections before transporting. He is now available for pre-adoption while completing treatment.
