Meet Zeus! We wanted to give him a strong name to help him build his confidence. Zeus is shy but very sweet. He loves to cuddle and is quite a couch potato. He was nervous of other dogs but is slowly making friends ands learning to set appropriate boundaries when overwhelmed. Hes starting to play with them outside and lay with them inside in his foster home. He is also getting better at meeting people. He is very shy at first but loves to be pet and doesnt mind if someone new comes up to him and just starts giving him love. He is very good at being handled and lets you touch his ears, mouth and feet without protest. He is also good at letting you clean his eyes. He gets startled by loud noises or fast movements but is starting to relax and be less easily triggered. He is nervous going into his crate but calms down and does very well once inside. He also seems to be house trained and does a good job going outside to go to the bathroom. He likes to try to steal food but takes correction very well. He would do well with a patient family who will show him kindness while training and has the time to help him keep coming out of his shell.
