ZUES was initially a Mat-Su Animal Control rescue. This English Pointer spent the first part of his life on the end of a chain (24 hours a day, seven days a week, twelve months a year) and used to breed with huskys. He was in foster for quite some time to assist him with socialization and to add weight to him. He thrived with love and attention. (It took months before he no longer looked like a rack of bones.) He is extremely obessed with people food; the reason for his recent return...the children had difficulty competing for their own food. He gets along with other dogs and cats, extremely people friendly, a bit on the needy side, sometimes paces with nervous energy (which can be subsided with some love pats) and loves to sleep on the bed or couch. He is approximately eight years old now. He would love a home that would give him lots of attention, praise and hugs. He deserves the opportunity to finally experience a family of his own who will stay committed to him for life...this opportunity has continually alluded this handsome and worthy guy.
