Why Choose Me? Zelda is a happy girl who bounces with joy. We worked on keeping her paws on the ground because in her excitement, she loves giving hugs. She also likes chasing toys and is pretty good about bringing them back. That was a good way to help her channel her energy. Zelda enjoys being with people and is always ready for fun. She absolutely loves people and just getting attention in general. She had such a blast playing with the ball and returns it right at your feet! She is going to make someone so happy?" * * * Update: Zelda is FUN! She loves toys and has a great time playing fetch. The first time I met Zelda, we had to work on keeping her paws on the ground, but that's no longer the case. She's great about sitting and waiting for a toy to be thrown and gives perfect sits for treats. She's a really good girl who's happy to be with a friend, loves to please, and soaks up all the love you can give her. Zelda has been great with the dogs she's met, playful and appropriate, as well as the people. She needs a rescue, foster, or foster-to-adopt home ASAP. (She has tested positive for heartworms and has not completed her treatment; an adoption can be finalized once that is done.)
