Zeke Louie - Meet Me in Ardsley, NY on April 27th

Zeke Louie has never met a stranger. He has not been socialized yet so he will need to learn these skills to interact with both dogs and cats. When raised around cats, with proper boundaries, puppies do very well. If you expect your puppy to get along with your feline buddy, it's important to start socializing the puppy with the cat as soon as you can. This highly energetic cute little guy hasn't had the best start to life as he and his siblings were left at our front gate in a tote bag. This little guy is used to being with his siblings and will need a canine friend, or if you have room, one of his siblings, in his new home. Puppies love to run and play with one another, and this active cutie is no different. He will need a home with adopters that are ready to tire him out both mentally and physically. Zeke Louie would be perfect for a family with children old enough to understand he is a living breathing animal and not a stuffed animal. He would be a great pal for middle school aged kids and older. Zeke Louie would also do well with a single owner that is home most, if not all, of the day who could keep him engaged in mental and physical activities throughout the day. What matters most to him is that his adopter is happy, excited, and ready to take on loving and training this energetic little guy! Remember, he is just a baby and needs to learn EVERYTHING. There will be accidents and chewing as he grows up. You must be patient with him and teach him everything, including all his commands, walking on a leash, to potty outside, everything. The adopter who is kind, patient and caring with him will be rewarded with a life-long companion that will give you unconditional love. What a wonderful reward that is!
