Zeke is a wonderful, affectionate little Doxie who is 2 yrs old. He weighs 14 lbs and has short bursts of energy. He will make you laugh as he scampers around on his little legs. He was an owner surrender in the south but it's obvious that he was very well loved and not left alone much. He is crate and house trained. Zeke is quiet and would be more than suitable for condo/apt. living. He is fine with other dogs but will mildly guard his food. Zeke is wonderful with children but has not been cat tested. Zeke's ideal home would be one where he could be with someone most of the day. He loves going for car rides and would love to accompany you wherever you go. This is a very sweet, funny, affectionate boy! Adoption fee $375.

We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
