This young dog, now named Zeke, was found dumped along with many other dogs in the countryside. It is obvious that they were dumped by a abusive breeder or mill.
Zeke has never known love or comfort.
Zeke is a young dog, mostly lab. He likely was living in cramped quarters. We have had our vet exam him closely and there is no injury. Food and water carry high value to Zeke.
Zeke is nervous of new experiences. He is in an experienced foster home with another dog and improving.
His new home MUST HAVE a securely fenced yard, with another well balanced dog, and patience. Zeke will always carry the emotional scars of abuse and neglect.
Zeke has been heartworm tested, vaccinated, neutered, dewormed, treated for fleas and ticks, and microchipped. His adoption fee of $850 includes all his vet care and records, as well as 30 days of free limited pet insurance with Trupanian to be registered by his adopter upon adoption.
