Zeeda

Zeeda. born in November 2003, possibly an Australian Shepard mix. Zeeda is spayed, up to date on shots, and on heartworm preventative. Zeeda is a true mixed breed. She possibly has some Setter or Border Collie in her background. She is currently about 30 pounds and is probably close to her adult size. Zeeda did not have nice experiences with people as a baby and she is extremely timid. She has been in foster care for several months and is learning that people are a good thing. Zeeda is very athletic and loves to run, jump and play, although she is gentle and quiet inside. She is housebroken, but still has too much puppy in her to be trusted alone in the house. She is crate trained. Zeeda is currently attending basic obedience and socialization classes and is doing very well. Zeeda loves water and is a great swimmer. She is high energy and loves to go for walks or to the park for a romp. She is very loving, affectionate and silly with people that she knows. She is afraid, but never aggressive with strangers. She is a very alert watchdog but prefers barking at a distance to any sort of aggressive behavior. Zeeda needs a family that understands she is timid and is ready to give her time to get know them. Because she is so easily frightened, she would probably do best without any small children. She loves other animals and would definitely be happiest in a muti-pet home.
