Zazu was dumped in a crate inside the fence of a rural dog rescue. The skinny flea ridden pup was never claimed and they had no one to foster her so I was asked to help. I love pups and didn’t hesitate to step up. It was difficult for awhile trying to get Zara to eat. She just wasn’t hungry which is not typical for a young pup and had yucky diarrhea. She had been dewormed but after visiting the vet, she was also found to have coccidia. So once treated for that, she did a complete turnaround and has been gaining weight and showing her true puppy colors! Thankfully during this time, we also rescued another pup so Zazu had a friend to expend some of her puppy energy with! Zazu is about 10 weeks old and about 10#. We expect her to be a small to medium sized dog but since we have no clue as to her breed mix, that is really anyone’s guess. All we do know is that she is a healthy happy playful pup who longs for her very own forever loving home… definitely an active home and maybe one with another playful dog would be nice!
