ZAZU

ZAZU arrived at the shelter in mid May 2024. He is listed as a Catahoula/Terrier mix, the same as the other dog that arrived with him. Both were listed as about 4 to 6 months of age and this boy weighed 25 pounds at Intake. Both are friendly and have easily been paired with a couple of other young dogs at the shelter due to space constraints, which gives them more buddies to play with during their stay there. He has now been at the shelter, long enough to be considered a young dog and has moved out of the puppy stage. He will not be considered an adult until he has reached one year of age. Staff sincerely hopes that someone will reach out and adopt this young dog or one of the other many Dogs or puppies at the shelter so that they do not have to spend so much of their lives just sitting there. ZAZU has not yet been neutered. That must be done before he can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
