Zara

Zara is an adorable 7 month old Shih Tzu puppy. She is as sweet as she is beautiful. She loves everyone and gets along with all the other dogs here. She has had a rather uncertain past for her young age and she was brought here with his brother who is equally as sweet and adorable. She needs some training still but she is true to her breed in being very laid back and loving to everyone. She will make a wonderful lifelong friend for her new family. you will not find a nicer more down earth Shih Tzu from any breeder. She really is a true gem. Like many of our rescue dogs, we are not sure how well house trained Zara is. But with gentle persuasion, some consistency, structure and praise he should be easy to train. Zara is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will need professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. Zara's adoption fee is $550 This fee includes at least one health exam at our veterinarian while in our care, altering, all vaccinations including rabies (as permitted by age), a pre-adoption professional grooming and a microchip with lifetime membership that never will cost you a fee. All dogs also leave with a new collar and or harness and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble that is being fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also allow us the ability to put funds towards the next homeless or unwanted dog in need of rescue!
