Zara

Zara was picked up on I95 and never claimed by her owner so she is looking for someone new to start a life with. We are still getting to know her, but what we can tell you so far is she is a very sweet girl that listens well if she understands what you are asking of her (such as coming when called and going in her crate when you ask). Zara has met a handful of other dogs at the rescue, around her size and smaller, and she has done great with everyone. She was scared of the little yappy dogs at first, but once she got use to them she was fine! Zara was in such rough shape when she arrived we thought for sure she was an older dog, but judging from the condition of her teeth she actually looks young! We are still working on getting her back to a good weight, but she will be ready for a new home soon.
