Zappa is around seven years old. He is very sweet but he is shy/timid. He doesn't walk well on a leash but loves a fenced in backyard. Zappa is slow to gain trust. Zappa may have been a breeding dog since he doesn't know a lot about inside (doesn't get up on furniture, wants to be around other dogs (at least one dog is needed in the household). Some of these breeding dogs relate well to other dogs but not people. With that said, he will need someone with patience to go slowly with him. A fenced yard is required and another dog too. Zappa gets along with cats just fine. Older children are okay but younger ones scare him. Zappa is around 20 pounds, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and housebroken. Someone with experience with shy/timid dogs would be great for Zappa. He loves belly rubs and just had a dental where he lost seven teeth. Zappa is feeling good and ready for his new home.
