Zane recently found himself as a stray at a rural shelter with a "known" owner who never came for him. We'll never understand how someone can abandon their senior dog. Zane is an 11 year old, 99 pound lab/shepherd mix. Zane was a volunteer favorite at the shelter. He is so sweet. Walks well despite his age and size (he could lose a few pounds), knows a few commands, likes having his back scratched and is dog and people friendly. Zane deserves a loving family and comfy home to spend his golden years in. Could that family and home be yours?
