Zander

Meet Zander! Zander is an approximately 3 year old Pitbull Terrier boy who came to us after being found as a stray and winding up at a local shelter. Luckily, we were able to rescue this boy as a medical plea, as he had a very painful prolapse. Luckily, he was able to get surgery to reduce his prolapse, and has done very well ever since! Since recovering from surgery, Zander’s happy personality has began to blossom. He’s around 60lb, and is the perfect mix of energetic and couch potato! He loves to go out and play with his canine foster siblings and foster family, but where he really thrives is laying on the couch with his legs outstretched in the air! He absolutely loves to cuddle, and in positions that will keep you laughing for years to come. Zander does have some arthritic changes to his hips and knees from hip dysplasia he likely got early in life, but he does not require any medication to manage at this time! He gets around great, but he does walk on his tippy toes, resulting in a priceless little prance. Zander does great with dogs, is tolerant (if not a bit scared) of cats, and would likely do well with children 10+, as we don’t want a young child to accidentally hurt his hips. He is crate trained and house trained, and would likely adapt well to just about any family!
